Pay: $15.50 per hour
Schedule: 1st Shift | 5:00 AM – 1:30 PM or 3:30 PM, depending on production needs

Job Description
Express Employment Professionals is currently hiring an experienced Forklift / Tugger Driver for a manufacturing facility in Winchester, KY.
This position supports production by transporting raw materials, supplies, and finished products throughout the facility using a forklift or tugger. Associates will also assist with warehouse operations, shipping and receiving, inventory control, and maintaining an organized work environment.
Please Note: This is a very physically demanding position that requires frequent movement, bending, squatting, and repeatedly getting on and off material-handling equipment.
Job Responsibilities

Operate forklifts and tuggers to deliver materials to production lines.

Transport raw materials, pallets, racks, work-in-process materials, and finished products.

Assist with loading and unloading trucks.

Perform and document pre-shift forklift inspections.

Follow inventory procedures, including FIFO (First In, First Out).

Ensure materials, totes, and boxes are properly labeled.

Assist with pulling and preparing customer shipments.

Remove excess packaging, totes, and racks from production areas.

Provide backup support for scrap material handling.

Maintain clean and organized warehouse and dock areas.

Follow safety procedures and participate in daily 5S activities.
Qualifications

High school diploma or GED required.

3 years of forklift and/or tugger experience required for consideration.

Previous warehouse experience preferred.

Valid driver's license required.

Forklift or tugger certification required; facility-specific certification process must also be completed.

Previous shipping and receiving experience preferred.

Basic computer skills and ability to complete inventory/shipping documentation.

Strong attention to safety and ability to follow instructions.

Dependable attendance and good communication skills.
Physical Requirements

Ability to stand and move throughout the facility for extended periods.

Frequently mount and dismount forklifts or other equipment.

Repeatedly bend, squat, reach overhead, and turn the head and upper body.

Frequent gripping, grasping, and handling of materials.

Ability to lift approximately 25 lbs.

Ability to perform the essential job duties with or without reasonable accommodation.
