Experienced Handyman / Home Repair Technician
Pay: $25/hr during training | $16/hr + commission after training
Job Description
We are looking for an experienced Handyman / Home Repair Technician who is comfortable completing a variety of residential repairs and home improvement projects independently.
The ideal candidate will have a strong background in carpentry, drywall, and general home repairs, along with experience in other trades. This position requires someone who can assess a job, determine what needs to be done, and complete quality work with minimal supervision.
Job Responsibilities

Independently complete small to medium home repairs, maintenance, and remodeling projects.

Perform carpentry, drywall repairs, painting, basic plumbing, tile work, and other general home improvements.

Assess repair needs, explain the scope of work, and communicate cost estimates to customers.

Manage time effectively to complete jobs within expected deadlines.

Maintain proper inventory of materials and equipment needed for assigned jobs.

Collect customer payments or payment information upon completion of work.

Keep company vehicle, tools, and equipment clean and in good working condition.

Provide excellent customer service and maintain a professional appearance.

Assist with other duties as needed.
Job Requirements

Minimum 10 years of experience in home maintenance, repairs, or remodeling.

Strong hands-on experience with carpentry and drywall.

Working knowledge of tile, basic plumbing, and painting.

Must have personal tools suitable for a variety of repair jobs.

Must be comfortable using an iPad, taking pictures, and documenting work through an app.

Ability to troubleshoot problems and complete jobs independently.

Strong time management, communication, and customer service skills.

Dependable, detail-oriented, and able to work with minimal supervision.
Pay Structure

Training Pay: $25 per hour.

After Training: $16 per hour + commission.

Commission provides additional earning potential based on the company's compensation structure.
Ideal Candidate
We are looking for someone who has worked in residential maintenance, remodeling, construction, or handyman services and has the experience to handle jobs from start to finish without constant supervision.
Previous professional handyman or residential remodeling experience is strongly desired.
