Our client, an industry leader in the home remodeling business, is looking for an Outside Sales Consultant to join their growing team!

The Outside Sales Consultant is responsible for generating sales from warm and cold leads as well as providing estimates and securing new business

Compensation: Base salary $50,000 (plus commission)

Responsibilities:
• Conducting in-home consultations from leads
• Measure and quote home improvement services including kitchen, bath and remodeling, carpentry, and interior/exterior painting projects with support from designers and estimators
• Follow a sales process to close residential clients by identifying clients’ needs and providing solutions tailored to those needs
• Follow the company’s processes and CRM system for tracking the sales process
• Network and build relationships with clients for future business and to maintain a professional company image
• Conduct regular job site visits to ensure customer satisfaction
• Maintain contact with customers in a timely and professional manner
• Verify customer satisfaction at the completion of the job
• Attend weekly Sales team meetings for coaching, training, and mentoring opportunities with other successful sales team members and senior management, with a desire to commit to a defined sales process


Experience, Skills, and Qualifications:
• Minimum of 3 years of sales experience in the home improvement industry or a related field (focus on Kitchen/Bath projects preferred).
• Experience with remodeling take-off preparation and estimation is preferred.
• Proficiency in computer applications including Google Suite (Gmail, Sheets, Docs), Microsoft Excel, Word, and PowerPoint.
• Familiarity with CRM systems (Zoho CRM preferred, but not required).
• Strong interpersonal skills, including active listening and effective verbal/oral communication.
• Demonstrated professionalism, including punctuality, accountability, and a polished appearance and demeanor.
• Excellent organizational and time management skills.
• Ability to maintain positive working relationships with clients, vendors, and co-workers.
• Strong follow-up skills with a commitment to timely and courteous customer service.
• Must be able to pass a drug screening and background check.
