Our client is seeking a detail-oriented Accounting & Office Coordinator to manage a blend of financial and administrative responsibilities. This role plays a key part in ensuring accurate financial tracking and supporting daily office operations. Ideal for candidates with a strong background in accounting and a proactive, organized approach to office support.

This is a temporary position for 5 months, with the chance to extend for the right candidate!

Schedule: Monday-Friday 10:00am-4:30pm (30 hours per week)

Pay: $27.00 - $33.00/hour

Responsibilities of the Accounting & Office Coordinator: 

  • Perform daily reconciliations between internal systems and financial records
  • Reconcile electronic banking transactions and prepare necessary adjustments
  • Generate and process daily cash reports; prepare and reconcile bank deposits
  • Receive, code, and process vendor invoices for timely payment
  • Coordinate regular check runs and ensure all approvals and documentation are complete
  • Issue customer invoices and monthly account statements
  • Monitor outstanding receivables and follow up on overdue payments
  • Apply customer payments and reconcile account balances
  • Manage office supply inventory and coordinate replenishment orders

Qualifications, Skills and Experience of the Accounting & Office Coordinator:

  • 2+ years experience in in accounting or bookkeeping roles
  • Reconciliation and billing experience 
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Excel; Great Plains (Dynamics GP) (a plus)
  • Associates or Bachelors Degree in related field (preferred)
  • Excellent attention to detail, organization, and time management skills
  • Strong communication skills and ability to multitask in a fast-paced setting
