Job Full Description
Our client, a full-service commercial laundry distributor, is looking for an Appliance Service Manager to lead their service department.
This is a hands-on leadership role responsible for overseeing service operations, managing a team of technicians, and ensuring the department consistently delivers high-quality customer service and profitable results.
Pay: $40.00–$50.00/hour
Responsibilities:

Provide dependable, high-quality repair and service to customers

Maximize the productivity and performance of service technicians

Grow service volume and expand department capabilities

Ensure smooth day-to-day operations and profitability of the service department

Prepare accurate repair estimates for customers

Develop and oversee processes that streamline parts flow to technicians

Maintain efficiency of service and parts management software

Address customer complaints with professionalism and empathy to ensure satisfaction

Build strong, long-term relationships with both new and existing clients

Monitor financial performance, meeting revenue and expense goals

Establish and track monthly and annual objectives for the department
Qualifications and Experience:

5+ years of experience in appliance repair, service management, or a related technical field

Proven leadership experience managing service technicians or field staff

Strong technical knowledge of commercial laundry or appliance repair equipment

Excellent problem-solving skills with a customer-first mindset

Proficiency in service management or parts inventory software

Strong organizational and time management abilities

Demonstrated success in meeting revenue goals and improving departmental efficiency

Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to handle both team leadership and customer interactions
