Payroll Coordinator / Receptionist (Direct Hire)

Our client is seeking a Payroll Coordinator/Receptionist to join their team in a dual role that combines payroll management with front-office administrative support. This position is ideal for someone who enjoys detailed payroll work while also being the friendly, professional face of the organization

📍 Onsite – Weston, MA 
💰 $28 – $35/hour 
🕒 Full-Time | Monday–Friday, 8:30am–4:30pm or 9:00am–5:00pm

Key Responsibilities

  • Manage and process biweekly payroll using Paylocity

  • Maintain employee records, timekeeping data, and related documentation

  • Review and reconcile payroll reports to ensure accuracy and compliance

  • Assist with employee onboarding and setup within payroll and timekeeping systems

  • Serve as the first point of contact for visitors, employees, and guests

  • Answer and direct phone calls, manage email correspondence, and maintain a professional reception area

  • Provide general administrative support such as filing, scheduling, and ordering office supplies

Qualifications

  • 3–5 years of payroll and administrative experience required

  • Must have working knowledge of Paylocity 

  • Experience with Assure timekeeping software preferred (can be trained)

  • Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail

  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills with a professional, welcoming demeanor

  • Ability to handle confidential information with discretion
