Job Full Description
Job Summary: We are seeking a reliable and hardworking Laborer / Recycling Quality Control Associate to join our team. This position is responsible for inspecting, sorting, and monitoring recyclable materials to ensure quality standards are met while maintaining a safe and organized work environment.
Key Responsibilities:
- Inspect and sort recyclable materials according to company and customer specifications.
- Identify and remove contaminants or non-recyclable items from sorting lines.
- Conduct quality control checks on processed materials to ensure accuracy and compliance.
- Assist with loading, unloading, and moving materials throughout the facility.
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of work areas and equipment.
- Follow all safety procedures, company policies, and environmental regulations.
- Report quality issues, equipment malfunctions, or safety concerns to supervisors.
- Perform general labor duties as assigned to support daily operations.
Qualifications:
- Previous experience in recycling, warehouse, manufacturing, or quality control preferred but not required.
- Ability to stand, bend, lift, and perform physical labor throughout the shift.
- Ability to lift up to 50 pounds regularly.
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality.
- Dependable attendance and strong work ethic.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and as part of a team.
