CNC / Skilled Machine Operator – 2nd Shift
Location: Muskegon, MI
Schedule: Monday–Friday, 3:00 p.m.–11:00 p.m.
Pay: $18–$21/hr, based on experience
Type: Full-Time | Contract-to-Hire
We’re seeking a highly skilled Machine Operator or CNC Machinist for our 2nd shift production team in Muskegon. This is not an entry-level role — we’re looking for someone with proven experience in precision machining, blueprint interpretation, and quality control.
Key Responsibilities

Operate and maintain CNC and production equipment in a fast-paced, automotive environment.

Read and interpret blueprints, GD&T, and tooling drawings accurately.

Set up and adjust tools, offsets, and fixtures to maintain part tolerances.

Inspect parts using precision measuring instruments (calipers, micrometers, height gauges, comparators).

Perform minor troubleshooting, tool changes, and preventive maintenance.

Maintain quality and production standards in accordance with engineering specifications.
Qualifications & Experience

Minimum 1 year of experience as a Machine Operator, CNC Operator, or Machinist in a manufacturing or automotive setting.

Must be able to read and understand complex blueprints and use precision measurement tools confidently.

Comfortable with mathematical calculations and tolerances.

Experience with manufacturing presses or basic tool & die work preferred.

High school diploma or equivalent required; technical training or certification in machining is a plus.
