General Labor / Machine Operator – Contract to Hire
Location: Wayland, MI
Schedule:
1st Shift | Monday–Wednesday | 5:00 AM – 5:00 PM
3rd Shift | Monday–Wednesday | 5:00 PM – 5:00 AM
Pay: $18.00/hour on 1st; $19.00/hour on 3rd
Job Type: Full-Time | Contract-to-Hire | Overtime Available After Training

Are you looking for a hands-on job in a fast-paced industrial environment? Our team is hiring General Laborers / Machine Operators for our 1st shift. This is a contract-to-hire opportunity with long-term potential and room to grow within a leading landscape supply manufacturing company.
What You'll Do:

Operate machinery used in the production of landscape supply materials

Perform general labor tasks including material handling, stacking, and packaging

Monitor machines to ensure proper operation and report any issues

Maintain a clean and safe work environment

Follow all safety and quality protocols
Shift & Schedule:

1st Shift: Monday to Wednesday, 5:00 AM – 5:00 PM (3-day work week)
- 3rd Shift: Monday to Wednesday, 5:00 PM- 5:00 AM (3-day work week)

Overtime available once fully trained

Requirements:

Previous experience in general labor, machine operation, or manufacturing preferred

Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and stand for long periods

Reliable transportation to and from the job site

Strong work ethic and attention to detail

Must be able to follow safety guidelines and work in a team environment
