About the Role
Direct-hire, in-person Therapist/Counselor serving the Holland, MI community. You’ll provide culturally responsive, bilingual (Spanish/English) counseling to diverse and immigrant families in office and out in the community (schools, homes, partner sites) to reduce barriers to care. This is a chance to build something meaningful for the local community, receive strong mentorship/clinical guidance, and practice with a team grounded in equity, compassion, and cultural humility. Clinical focus includes trauma-informed, evidence-based care and close collaboration with community partners.

What You’ll Do

  1. Provide individual and family therapy in person and via telehealth using evidence-based, trauma-informed approaches
  2. Conduct intakes/assessments; create treatment plans; maintain timely, compliant documentation
  3. Coordinate care with schools, healthcare providers, and community organizations
  4. Engage families/caregivers through education, resources, and collaborative goal-setting
  1. Participate in case consultation, mentorship, and quality-of-care initiatives

Qualifications

  1. Master’s in Social Work, Counseling, Marriage & Family Therapy, Psychology or related field
  2. Active Michigan license (LMSW-Clinical/LPC/LMFT); limited licenses considered with supervision
  3. Bilingual in Spanish and English (required)
  4. Demonstrated cultural humility and success working with linguistically and culturally diverse communities
  5. Strong documentation, communication, and collaboration skills; valid driver’s license for local community work

Schedule & Work Setting

  1. Full-time; primarily daytime with limited early evening availability as needed
  2. In-person only; office-based with routine community visits (schools/homes/partner sites)
