Now Hiring: 1st Shift Crating & Woodworking Associate – $18–$20/hr | Contract-to-Hire | Muskegon, MI
Are you skilled with hand tools, power tools, or construction work? Join a leading Muskegon manufacturing company in their Crating Department, where you’ll use your woodworking skills to build and assemble custom wooden crates that protect high-value glass products for shipment.
This is a first-shift, full-time opportunity offering steady hours, great pay, and long-term career growth in a clean, safety-focused environment.
🔧 What You’ll Do

Build, measure, and assemble wooden crates and shipping containers.

Use saws, drills, nail guns, and other power tools safely and efficiently.

Prepare, label, and secure large glass products for safe transportation.

Read simple measurements and follow layout diagrams.

Work as part of a team that values quality, precision, and safety.
🪚 What We’re Looking For

Experience in construction, carpentry, packaging, or manufacturing preferred.

Comfortable with tape measures, hand tools, and power tools.

Ability to lift and move materials safely.

Dependable, detail-oriented, and eager to learn.

High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
