MIG Welder - 1st Shift (7:00 AM – 3:00 PM) - $25 per hour
Location: Muskegon Area
We are working with a great local manufacturing company that is looking to add an experienced MIG Welder to their 1st shift team. This is a clean, well-run shop with strong leadership, steady work, and long-term opportunity.
Shift:
1st Shift – 7:00 AM to 3:00 PM
What You’ll Be Doing:
- Perform MIG welding on heavy metal materials such as steel and structural components
- Read and interpret blueprints, schematics, and technical drawings
- Set up and maintain welding equipment and tools
- Inspect welds to ensure they meet quality and safety standards
- Operate grinders, cutting torches, and other fabrication equipment
- Follow all safety procedures and maintain a clean work environment
- Collaborate with team members to complete projects on time
What We’re Looking For:
- Proven experience as a MIG Welder (heavy metals experience preferred)
- 2 years of recent MIG Welding Experience preferred
- Ability to read and interpret technical documents and blueprints
- Strong attention to detail and craftsmanship
- Familiarity with welding safety standards and procedures
- Physical ability to lift heavy materials and work in various positions
