CNC Machinist (Swiss Lathe) Opportunity in Hudsonville

This is a contract-to-hire position with the potential to become a permanent member of the team. Ideal candidates will have experience working with CNC machinery, reading blueprints, performing quality inspections, and making machine adjustments.

Key Responsibilities

• Load and unload CNC machines
• Understand and perform tool changes and tool touch-offs
• Perform routine machine maintenance and machine adjustments, including tension adjustments
• Read and interpret blueprints
• Use gauges and inspection tools to complete quality checks
• Follow quality standards and manufacturing specifications
• Cross-train and eventually work within multiple areas of production, including:
  • CNC Machines
  • Vertical CNC Machines
  • Robotics
  • CNC Swiss Machines
  • Assembly

Required Skills & Qualifications

• Experience operating CNC machinery, preferably CNC Swiss Lathes
• Ability to perform tool changes and tool touch-offs
• Experience reading and interpreting blueprints
• Ability to use gauges and perform quality inspections
• Mechanical aptitude and ability to make routine machine adjustments
• Commitment to safety, quality, and production standards
