Tax Preparer
Express Employment Professionals is seeking an experienced Tax Preparer for a client located in the East Metro. This is a great opportunity for an experienced tax professional looking for a Monday–Friday schedule with a well-established organization.
Position Details
- Schedule: Monday–Friday, 8:00 AM–5:00 PM
- Location: East Metro
- Pay: $20-$25/hr
- Start Date: ASAP
- Experience Required: Minimum 3 years of tax preparation experience
Job Responsibilities
- Prepare individual and business tax returns accurately and efficiently
- Review financial records, income statements, deductions, and supporting documentation
- Ensure tax returns comply with applicable federal and state regulations
- Identify potential tax issues and opportunities for clients
- Communicate with clients to obtain necessary tax information and documentation
- Maintain accurate and organized tax files and records
- Stay current on changes to tax laws, regulations, and filing requirements
- Assist with other tax-related duties as needed
Qualifications
- Minimum of 3 years of experience preparing individual and business tax returns
- Strong knowledge of federal and state tax regulations
- Excellent attention to detail and organizational skills
- Ability to work independently and meet deadlines
- Strong communication and customer service skills
- Proficiency with tax preparation software and Microsoft Office
- Accounting, Finance, or related education is preferred
