Job Description
- Maintain cleanliness and sanitation of floors, walls, windows, and other surfaces.
- Collect and dispose of waste and recyclables according to guidelines.
- Clean and restock restrooms with necessary supplies.
- Sweep, mop, vacuum, and polish floors; operate floor buffers and other equipment as needed.
- Ensure that cleaning equipment is properly maintained and stored.
- Follow safety procedures and protocols, including the use of personal protective equipment (PPE).
- Monitor and restock cleaning supplies and report shortages.
- Clean up spills and other accidents promptly and safely.
- Follow all guidelines for infection control and facility cleanliness.
- Report maintenance issues or repairs needed to the appropriate personnel.
- Address any concerns or special requests from staff or visitors professionally.
- Stay updated on training and compliance requirements related to cleaning and safety procedures.
Job Requirements
- Ability to lift, carry, and move items, and perform repetitive tasks.
- Strong focus on thorough and accurate cleaning.
- Familiarity with cleaning techniques and use of cleaning equipment.
- Ability to follow instructions and interact effectively with staff and visitors.
- Understanding and adherence to safety protocols and proper use of personal protective equipment (PPE).
- Willingness to work various shifts or respond to urgent cleaning needs.
