Job Responsibilities
- Collect and evaluate data and ensure that product meets product standards
- Monitor sanitation practices throughout the facility along with Good Manufacturing Practices
- Preserve a good relationship with USDA and Production Management
- Place product on hold that does not meet specifications or compliance
- Assists other technicians and management in monitoring and verifying specifications
- Maintain HACCP records (perform CCP checks)
- Notify Management if discrepancies are found
- Collect any necessary microbiological samples
- Monitor the facility’s SSOPs
- Monitor sanitizers in accordance with regulations
- Responsible for monitoring BRC policies
- Responsible for monitoring the management of food safety, legality and quality
