Express Employment is hiring CDL-A drivers for several companies in the Hattiesburg area!
- $18-$22/hour
- Day Shift
- Long Term Full Time
- Weekly Pay
Key Responsibilities:
- Operate Class A commercial vehicles (tractor-trailers, flatbeds, tankers, etc.) safely and efficiently
- Transport freight to assigned destinations on schedule
- Perform pre-trip, en-route, and post-trip vehicle inspections
- Ensure cargo is properly loaded, secured, and documented
- Maintain accurate logs (ELD, hours of service, mileage, fuel)
- Comply with DOT, federal, state, and local regulations
- Communicate with dispatch regarding routes, delays, or issues
- Report accidents, traffic violations, or vehicle maintenance needs
- Maintain cleanliness and basic upkeep of assigned vehicle
Qualifications:
- Valid Class A Commercial Driver’s License (CDL)
- Clean driving record (as defined by company and DOT standards)
- Ability to pass DOT physical and drug/alcohol screening
- Knowledge of DOT safety regulations and hours-of-service rules
- Strong time management and communication skills
- Ability to lift, load, or unload freight if required
Physical Requirements:
- Ability to sit for extended periods
- Ability to climb into and out of truck cabs
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs (depending on cargo)
