Express is hiring a safety coordinator for a company located in the Pine Belt.

- Day Shift

Key Responsibilities
- Develop and maintain workplace safety policies and procedures
- Conduct regular safety inspections and risk assessments
- Ensure compliance with OSHA and other regulatory requirements
- Investigate accidents, incidents, and near misses
- Prepare incident reports and recommend corrective actions
- Coordinate employee safety training and orientation programs
- Maintain safety records, logs, and documentation
- Monitor use of personal protective equipment (PPE)
- Assist in emergency preparedness and response planning
- Collaborate with supervisors and management on safety improvements
- Track safety metrics and prepare reports for leadership
- Promote a positive safety culture throughout the organization
Qualifications
- High school diploma or GED required; associate’s or bachelor’s degree preferred
- Certification such as OSHA 30, CSP, CHST, or ASP preferred
- Experience in occupational health and safety, construction, manufacturing, or industrial environments
- Knowledge of OSHA regulations and safety standards
- Strong communication and organizational skills
- Ability to conduct investigations and analyze safety data
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office and safety management software
