Job Full Description

Key Responsibilities

• Review, verify, and process vendor invoices
• Match purchase orders, receipts, and invoices
• Prepare and process payments (checks, ACH, wire transfers)
• Maintain vendor records and resolve payment discrepancies
• Reconcile vendor statements and accounts
• Monitor payment schedules and ensure timely payments
• Assist with month-end closing activities
• Maintain accurate accounting documentation and records
• Respond to vendor inquiries professionally
• Ensure compliance with company policies and financial regulations

Required Skills

• Knowledge of accounting principles and accounts payable processes
• Attention to detail and accuracy
• Strong organizational and time-management skills
• Proficiency in spreadsheet and accounting software

Qualifications

• High school diploma or associate/bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field
• Experience in accounts payable or bookkeeping preferred
• Familiarity with accounting systems such as QuickBooks, SAP, or Oracle NetSuite is often preferred
