Job Full Description

Key Responsibilities

• Install, troubleshoot, and repair electrical systems used in manufacturing equipment and production lines
• Perform preventative and predictive maintenance on motors, controls, conveyors, and automated systems
• Diagnose and repair electrical and control system issues to reduce equipment downtime
• Read and interpret electrical schematics, wiring diagrams, and blueprints
• Work with PLC-controlled systems and industrial automation equipment
• Maintain and repair motors, drives, sensors, panels, and control circuits
• Ensure compliance with OSHA safety standards and electrical codes (NEC)
• Collaborate with maintenance, engineering, and production teams to support uptime and efficiency
• Document maintenance work, repairs, and parts usage in maintenance systems

Required Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required
• Completion of an electrical apprenticeship or equivalent industrial experience preferred
• Experience in a manufacturing or industrial environment required
• Strong knowledge of electrical systems, motor controls, and troubleshooting techniques
• Ability to read and interpret technical drawings and schematics
• Experience with PLCs, VFDs, and automated production equipment preferred
• Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail

Physical Requirements

• Ability to lift up to 50 lbs
• Standing, climbing, bending, and working in confined or elevated spaces
• Work in noisy, hot, or industrial plant environments
• Required use of PPE at all times
