Express Employment is hiring Hotel Housekeepers in Hattiesburg, MS.!
Key Responsibilities
- Clean and prepare guest rooms according to hotel standards
- Make beds and change bed linens, pillowcases, and towels
- Clean and sanitize bathrooms, including toilets, showers, sinks, and mirrors
- Dust furniture, fixtures, and other surfaces
- Vacuum carpets and sweep and mop floors
- Replenish guest room amenities, toiletries, and cleaning supplies
- Remove trash and used linens from guest rooms
- Inspect rooms to ensure cleanliness and readiness for guests
- Report maintenance issues, damages, or missing items to supervisors
- Clean and maintain housekeeping carts and equipment
- Follow hotel cleaning procedures and safety guidelines
- Respect guest privacy and handle personal belongings appropriately
- Perform additional housekeeping duties as assigned by supervisors
Skills & Qualifications
- High school diploma or GED (preferred but not always required)
- Previous hotel housekeeping or cleaning experience is a plus
- Ability to perform physical labor, including lifting, bending, kneeling, and standing for long periods
- Strong attention to detail and cleanliness
- Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment
- Basic knowledge of cleaning products and equipment
- Ability to follow instructions and meet hotel cleanliness standards
- Good time management and organizational skills
- Friendly, dependable, and professional attitude
- Reliable attendance and ability to work as part of a team
