Position: Plumber Assistant Pay: $15 Job Summary:We are seeking a motivated HVAC Helper/Plumber Assistant to assist skilled technicians with the installation, repair, and servicing of industrial, commercial, and residential environmental control systems. Key Responsibilities: Assist in cutting, punching, flanging, shearing, and soldering sheet metal ducts and parts using hand and power tools. Cut threads and pack pipes as needed. Cement insulation in place over finished piping or tubing. Pass electrical wire through conduit, splice connections, and tape wires. Assemble sheet metal components of prefabricated furnaces using hand tools. Replace exhausted or defective refrigerant containers. Lubricate fans, motors, and control units. Install air and water filters in HVAC assemblies. Perform additional duties as directed by the lead technician. Requirements: Willingness to work in attics and confined spaces. Ability to work in extreme heat during hot months. Must be reliable and physically capable of performing labor-intensive tasks. Basic mechanical aptitude and willingness to learn.
