Position Title: Duct Work Installer Pay: $15
Job Summary:
The Duct Work Installer is responsible for installing, repairing, and maintaining heating, ventilation, and air conditioning (HVAC) duct systems and related components. This role involves working with sheet metal, performing limited electrical repairs, and operating specialized tools and machines to shape and fit ductwork as needed.
Key Responsibilities:

Install, repair, and maintain HVAC duct systems according to project specifications and safety standards

Perform minor electrical work related to HVAC controls and systems

Fabricate and assemble sheet metal components using hand tools and powered equipment

Use machines and tools to cut, bend, notch, and form sheet metal for duct installation

Inspect duct systems for proper operation and make necessary adjustments or repairs

Read and interpret blueprints, drawings, and technical specifications

Maintain clean and organized work areas and adhere to safety regulations
Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities:

Knowledge of HVAC systems and ductwork installation techniques

Ability to work with sheet metal, hand tools, and powered fabrication equipment

Basic understanding of electrical systems and HVAC controls

Ability to read technical drawings and follow detailed instructions

Good physical condition and ability to lift heavy materials

Strong attention to detail and problem-solving skills
Qualifications:

Previous experience in HVAC duct installation or a related field preferred

Ability to use power tools and duct fabrication machines safely

High school diploma or equivalent
-
OSHA safety training or HVAC certification a plus
