Job Overview
We are seeking a skilled and dedicated Maintenance Technician to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for ensuring the smooth operation of equipment and facilities, performing routine maintenance, and addressing any repair needs promptly. This role requires a proactive approach to problem-solving and a commitment to maintaining high standards of safety and quality.
Duties
· Conduct regular inspections of buildings, equipment, and systems to identify maintenance needs.
· Perform repairs and maintenance tasks on mechanical systems, including plumbing, and electrical systems.
· Fabricate parts or components as necessary to support maintenance operations.
· Utilize tools such as an ohmmeter for troubleshooting electrical issues.
· Collaborate with team members to ensure efficient workflow and address inquiries related to maintenance issues.
· Provide leadership in training new staff on maintenance procedures and safety protocols.
Skills
· Strong mechanical knowledge with the ability to troubleshoot various systems effectively.
· Proficiency in English for clear communication with team members and customers.
· Excellent multi-tasking and stress mitigation skills to interact positively with facility workers and address their concerns.
· Ability to lead by example, fostering a collaborative work environment.
· Familiarity with electrical systems and automation is a plus.
