REQUIRED EXPERIENCE!!!
SEEKING A Tire and Oil Technician (often called a Lube and Tire Technician) performs entry-level vehicle maintenance, including oil and filter changes, tire rotations, mounting, balancing, and safety inspections.
Key Responsibilities
- Oil & Fluid Services: Drain motor oil, replace oil and air filters, lubricate chassis fittings, and top off transmission, brake, windshield, and coolant fluids.
- Tire Services: Mount, balance, rotate, and repair tires, while checking and adjusting tire pressure to manufacturer specifications.
- Vehicle Inspections: Perform multi-point vehicle condition or safety checks (inspecting wipers, lights, belts, and brakes) and inform service advisors of needed repairs.
- Customer Service: Assist customers in choosing the right oil viscosity or tire type, explain maintenance findings, and process service payments.
- Shop Upkeep: Restock inventory, return used tire cores or batteries to designated areas, and keep the service bay, pit, and work area clean.
