Gantry Operator-3rd Shift
Looking to fill this 3rd shift position with the person with outstanding work history, attendance, and work ethic. This position needs someone willing to work between 40-60 hours a week based on overtime needed.
$17.00 hr. w/ $2.00 hr shift differential ($19.00 hr)
Duties Include:
- Understand HMI and Tablet (Operator Interface) control functions.
- Initiate Home Sequence for Gantry Robot
- Start Automatic Operation of System (Auto Mode)
- Enable and disable spur conveyors for Individual Production Cells as needed.
- Reload empty tape roll in case sealer
- Clear occasional box jam in case sealer
- Reset and restart case sealer in Auto mode
- Communicate with individual production cell operators to coordinate operations (i.e. change overs, cell start up, etc.)
- Clean sensors, rollers, scanners and other items as needed for efficient operation of system.
- Clean and sweep inside and around Gantry and Conveyor Area.
- Use tools to make minor adjustments and tighten bolts as needed.
- Initiate call to Maintenance when an issue beyond setup control arises.
- Operate Hospital Station System to eject bad product (box weight low, bad barcode, etc.)
- Understand how to re-enter repaired product to main conveyor flow for the Hospital Station.
- Load stretch wrap in pallet wrapper
- Reset and restart pallet wrapper in Auto Mode
- Load labels and ribbon in pallet label printer/applicator.
- Reset and restart pallet label printer/ applicator.
