Position: Bookkeeper / Accountant
Location: Flathead Valley
Status: Full‑Time
What You’ll Do
- Record daily financial transactions and complete posting processes
- Reconcile sales tax, payroll tax, 401(k) contributions, and bank accounts monthly
- Monitor and review financial transactions and reports
- Process accounts receivable and accounts payable
- Handle check processing and maintain accurate general ledger entries
- Collaborate with an accountant as needed
- Manage monthly payroll using accounting software
- Prepare, review, and interpret financial statements
What You Bring
- High school diploma required; Associate’s degree in Accounting or Business preferred
- Strong understanding of general accounting principles
- Minimum 2 years of bookkeeping experience, ideally in a business‑services environment
- Proficiency with bookkeeping software (Xero, QuickBooks, MYOB, etc.)
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- High attention to detail and accuracy
- Strong time‑management and organizational skills
- Ability to adapt to interruptions and shifting priorities
