Express Employment Professionals is seeking a Journeyman Plumber for a reputable plumbing company in the Flathead Valley.
This full‑time role is ideal for an experienced plumber skilled in both service work and new construction across residential and commercial projects.
Position: Journeyman Plumber
Location: Flathead Valley
Schedule: Monday–Friday, 8:00 AM – 5:00 PM
Pay: $20–$25/hr range depending on experience
Status: Full‑Time
What You’ll Do
- Perform plumbing installation, repair, and maintenance for residential, commercial, and new‑construction projects
- Work with pipes, valves, fittings, drainage systems, and fixtures
- Collaborate with general contractors, electricians, and other trades
- Follow building plans, blueprints, and job specifications
- Diagnose and resolve plumbing issues and emergencies
- Conduct routine inspections of plumbing and drainage systems
- Use hand and power tools safely and effectively
- Maintain accurate records of work performed, materials used, and time spent
What You Bring
- Montana State Journeyman Plumbing License
- 4+ years of plumbing experience, preferably in residential and commercial new construction
- Strong knowledge of plumbing codes, safety regulations, and best practices
- Ability to read and interpret blueprints and rough drawings
- Familiarity with PVC, CPVC, PEX, cast iron, and copper
- Skilled with hand tools and power tools
- Excellent problem‑solving abilities and attention to detail
- Ability to work independently and manage deadlines
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Proficiency in basic math, including fractions and decimals
Physical Requirements
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs
- Ability to bend, stoop, climb, and work in various physical positions
- Must pass a background check
- Valid driver’s license required
