Job Full Description
Hiring a full-time Electrical Engineer to support a locally based manufacturer in Kalispell, MT. This position is ideal for a detail-oriented, solutions-driven engineering professional with a background in manufacturing and electrical systems. You will work closely with cross-functional teams to define, execute, and troubleshoot engineering requirements for customer orders including new tool builds, retrofits, upgrades, and spare parts.
Schedule: Monday – Friday | 8:00 AM – 5:00 PM
Key Responsibilities:

Release accurate engineering BOMs and electrical schematics to support production timelines.

Design and analyze electrical, mechanical, and robotic systems.

Create detailed electrical schematic drawings using SolidWorks Electrical.

Maintain engineering documentation in line with SEMI and internal standards.

Conduct periodic documentation reviews and manage change control processes.

Troubleshoot and resolve electrical/wiring issues during assembly or testing.

Collaborate with planning, purchasing, production, and internal sales departments.

Interface with customers (as needed, under management guidance) to ensure design specifications meet their needs.

Support development engineering to implement new designs and systems.
Required Qualifications:

Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering.

3+ years of manufacturing experience.

Proficient in SolidWorks Electrical, DraftSight, or similar CAD tools.

Experience with electrical design packages and BOM creation.

Familiarity with SEMI, CE, and other industry standards.

Strong problem-solving skills with the ability to analyze issues and develop solutions.

Excellent attention to detail and documentation discipline.

Team-oriented with strong communication skills and the ability to work independently.
