Express Employment Professionals is actively recruiting for a Full Build Technician to join a locally established company specializing in firearm component manufacturing. This is a long-term, career-growth opportunity for individuals with a passion for precision craftsmanship and hands-on mechanical work.

Key Responsibilities:

Perform assembly and finishing work on gun components (including gun stocks).
Operate a variety of hand and power tools (drills, grinders, lathes, mills, sanders, etc.).
Grind, sand, polish, and finish parts to specification using sandpaper, chisels, scrapers, and more.
Read and interpret blueprints and job orders to ensure accuracy and precision.
Apply final primer and paint coatings to components.
Set up and operate machinery to cut, shape, and fit materials (wood, composite, and metal).
Record production and processing information as required.
Ensure all firearms and parts meet strict quality standards and regulatory specifications.

Qualifications & Skills:

Required Experience:

Familiarity with firearms and basic understanding of their mechanical operation.
Experience using hand/power tools and machining equipment including:
- Drills
- Lathes
- Mills
- Grinders
- Sanders
- Metalworking tools

Required Skills:

Basic mechanical skills.
Woodworking, metalworking, and/or composite experience.
High attention to detail with a commitment to precision.
Ability to follow written and verbal instructions accurately.

Preferred Qualities:

Proven track record of completing tasks thoroughly and accurately.
Interest in growing within a company over a 24-month period and beyond.
Reliable, punctual, and able to work independently or as part of a team.

Additional Information:

Background Check Required:
- Clean background required. Minor traffic violations (e.g., speeding or no insurance) may be acceptable.
- Due to the nature of the industry, strict compliance with firearm regulations is required.
Work Environment:
- Hands-on production/manufacturing setting.
- Use of finishing and machining equipment.
