Job Summary:
A respected local company in Libby, MT is seeking a skilled and safety-conscious Material Handler to join their team. This role is essential for supporting production and operational goals by efficiently receiving, moving, storing, and distributing materials across the facility. Key Responsibilities:

Operate forklifts safely to receive, stock, pull, and move materials for production and dispatch.

Assemble materials accurately per order specifications, ensuring all parts and quantities match.

Perform regular cycle counts and verify inventory levels; maintain accurate inventory records.

Maintain and organize the material yard for safety and efficiency.
-
Lead and train team members to improve operations, productivity, and uphold safety protocols.
-
Enforce safety standards and report mechanical issues for timely equipment maintenance.

Receive and verify deliveries, ensuring products match orders and are properly distributed.

Support multiple departments by managing timely material flow across the facility.
Qualifications:
-
Prior forklift operation experience (certification preferred).

Strong organizational, communication, and time management skills.
-
Ability to prioritize tasks and adapt to changing demands and schedules.

Proficient in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook).

Skilled in data entry and maintaining both digital and paper records.

Typing speed of 45–50 WPM with 10-Key proficiency.

Knowledge of inventory systems, basic research methods, and filing procedures.
Physical Requirements:

Regular use of hands and arms to operate tools and equipment.

Frequent standing, walking, climbing, stooping, kneeling, and crouching.

Ability to lift/move up to 25lbs frequently.

Comfortable working both indoors and outdoors in variable conditions.
