Express Employment Professionals is hiring a General Assembly/Operator for a precision manufacturing company in the Flathead Valley. Position: General Assembly / Operator – Evening Shift
Pay: $20/hr + 8% shift differential
Schedule: Monday–Thursday | 4:30 PM–3:00 AM
Location: Flathead Valley
What You’ll Do

Select, position, and secure tools in holders

Position and secure workpieces in fixtures, chucks, or machine tables

Adjust controls to set feeds, speeds, and depth of cut

Operate bench grinders to sharpen tools

Run various machines and equipment beyond standard machine tools

Grind, sand, clean, or polish parts to correct defects or prep for finishing

Ensure all parts meet quality and specification standards
What You Bring
-
Strong mechanical aptitude

Basic metalworking knowledge

Understanding of how firearms operate (preferred)

Ability to use hand and power tools such as drills, grinders, mills, and lathes

Willingness to learn and follow detailed instructions
Experience
-
Machine operator experience not required, but mechanical and metalworking experience is needed

Experience with stock molds is helpful
Education
Physical Requirements

Frequent standing, bending, twisting, and reaching

Ability to lift up to 50 lbs
