Position: Electrical Engineer I
Schedule: Day Shift
Location: Flathead Valley
What You’ll Do
- Assist in the design, development, and support of electrical systems for Nomad vehicles and platforms
- Create and maintain electrical schematics, wiring diagrams, and CAD documentation
- Support low‑voltage (12V/24V DC), high‑voltage (120V/240V AC), control systems, power distribution, and communication systems
- Ensure designs meet electrical codes, safety standards, and customer requirements
- Participate in testing, validation, design reviews, and root‑cause analysis
- Collaborate with Mechanical Engineering, IT Integration, Software, Human Factors, Production, Quality, and Project Management teams
- Support manufacturing by answering technical questions and resolving build issues
- Apply continuous improvement principles to enhance quality, reliability, and manufacturability
What You Bring
- Ability to support senior engineers with electrical design tasks and documentation
- Exposure to at least one phase of the product lifecycle (design, build, test, or release)
- Ability to create and update schematics, wiring diagrams, and bills of material under supervision
- Strong attention to detail and willingness to learn quickly
- Ability to reduce rework and complete tasks accurately on the first pass
Experience
- Experience with engineering standards, modularity, templates, or documentation is helpful
- Early‑career engineers or recent graduates encouraged to apply
