Express Employment Professionals is hiring an Assembler for a local client specializing in building large shipping crates for manufacturing companies. This is a hands-on role ideal for someone who enjoys working with tools and building in a fast-paced environment.

Position Overview

As an Assembler, you will be responsible for constructing large wooden crates using hand and power tools. The ideal candidate is hardworking, reliable, and eager to learn, with a strong focus on teamwork and safety.

Responsibilities

• Build and assemble large wooden crates to specifications
• Use tools such as nail guns, staple guns, and other hand/power tools
• Measure and cut materials accurately using a tape measure
• Follow instructions and production timelines
• Maintain a safe and clean work environment

Qualifications

• Experience with hand tools and power tools required
• Ability to read and use a tape measure accurately
• Mechanically inclined with building or construction experience
• High school diploma or GED required
• Ability to lift up to 50 lbs consistently
• Must wear steel-toe boots

Preferred Skills

• Woodworking or construction experience is a big plus
