Express Employment Professionals is currently seeking a Heavy Equipment Mechanic / Serviceman for a reputable local client. This is a great opportunity for candidates who enjoy hands-on mechanical work in a team-oriented environment.

Pay & Schedule

• Pay: $28.43 – $34.56 per hour (DOE)
• Shift Options:
  • Swing Shift: Monday – Thursday
  • Day Shift: Thursday – Sunday

Position Summary

This role is responsible for fueling, servicing, maintaining, and repairing heavy equipment and vehicles to ensure safe and efficient operations.

Key Responsibilities

• Fuel and service vehicles and equipment
• Perform oil changes, replace filters, and grease fittings
• Inspect equipment for rust, corrosion, and wear
• Pressure wash and clean equipment
• Change tires and install/remove tire chains
• Make repairs using hand tools, power tools, and welding equipment
• Inspect vehicles for worn or damaged components and create repair lists
• Maintain filter inventory and properly store parts after delivery
• Sweep and clean wash rack areas and maintain overall shop cleanliness
• Operate equipment to test repairs
• Paint vehicles and equipment as needed
• Perform additional duties as assigned

Qualifications

• Previous mechanical or heavy equipment service experience preferred
• Ability to use hand tools, power tools, and basic welding equipment
• Strong attention to detail and safety awareness
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team
• Must have a basic set of mechanical tools
