Shop Labor – Full-Time
Express Employment Professionals is hiring a Shop Laborer for a reputable local client. This is a full-time, year-round opportunity with competitive pay and strong benefits once hired on.
Pay
Schedule
- Monday – Friday | 8:00 AM – 5:00 PM
Job Responsibilities
- Set up and strip concrete forms
- Pour and finish concrete
- Read and work from blueprints
- Assist in production of precast products such as:
- Septic tanks
- Manholes
- Burial vaults
- Bend rebar and tack weld cages for concrete forms
- Use basic hand tools and shop equipment
Qualifications
- Experience with rebar bending and/or welding preferred
- Ability to read a tape measure accurately
- Familiarity with hand and power tools
- Basic math skills
- Previous precast/concrete experience is a plus (not required)
- Strong attention to detail and thoroughness
- Team-oriented with good time management skills
- Interest in long-term employment
Physical Requirements
- Ability to lift up to 75 lbs
- Work involves team lifting or use of equipment
- Comfort working in a shop/industrial environment
Additional Information
- Steel toe boots required (assistance program available if needed)
- Employer provides all required safety gear
- Forklift experience is a plus (training and certification provided onsite)
