Schedule: Monday–Friday, 7:00 AM – 3:30 PM

Job Summary
Express Employment Professionals is seeking a mechanically inclined individual to join a growing team as a Mechanical Layout (Plumber focus). This role involves building and installing fluid management systems on advanced equipment platforms. Ideal candidates have hands-on mechanical experience and are comfortable working with tools, tubing, and assembly drawings.
Key Responsibilities
- Build sub-assemblies associated with fluid management systems on Solstice platforms
- Position and install valves and pumps within system layouts
- Bend, route, and install PFA tubing per engineered fluid flow specifications
- Install pneumatic lines to and from pneumatic valves
- Interpret and work from engineering drawings, schematics, and P&ID diagrams
- Provide weekly progress updates to the Production Manager
- Identify and recommend continuous improvement opportunities for tools and processes
- Maintain a strong focus on safety, quality, and production timelines
Qualifications
- 2+ years of experience building or assembling mechanical systems
- Experience in plumbing, mechanical assembly, or a related trade (transferable skills welcome)
- Ability to read and understand engineering drawings and schematics (including P&IDs preferred)
- Familiarity with fluid flow systems and mechanical layouts
- Strong hands-on skills and attention to detail
- Self-motivated with the ability to work independently with limited supervision
- Good organizational and time management skills
Preferred:
- Experience in semiconductor or manufacturing environments
