Pay: $110,000 annually
Schedule: Monday–Friday, 8:00 AM–5:00 PM

Express Employment Professionals is seeking a Shop Manager for a respected facility. This leadership role is responsible for overseeing daily operations, managing staff, driving production, maintaining profitability, and ensuring exceptional customer service. The ideal candidate is a strong leader who can motivate a team, make difficult decisions, manage by metrics, and maintain a positive and professional work environment.
Key Responsibilities
Leadership & Team Management
- Lead, mentor, and develop team members across multiple departments.
- Hire, train, coach, and hold employees accountable to company standards and procedures.
- Foster a positive, professional, and team-oriented workplace culture.
- Conduct team meetings and provide ongoing training and development opportunities.
- Resolve employee concerns and address performance issues professionally and effectively.
- Lead through servant leadership, communication, and accountability.
Operations Management
- Oversee daily shop operations to ensure efficiency, quality, and profitability.
- Manage workflow, scheduling, and staffing to meet production goals.
- Ensure repairs are completed safely, accurately, and on time.
- Monitor key performance indicators (KPIs) and implement strategies for improvement.
- Maintain high standards for customer satisfaction and quality control.
- Coordinate with insurance partners, vendors, and customers to ensure smooth operations.
Business & Financial Oversight
- Manage budgets, forecasting, and overall shop performance.
- Analyze production and financial reports to support profitability goals.
- Monitor departmental performance and operational efficiencies.
- Present performance metrics and operational updates to leadership as needed.
- Ensure company resources and expenditures are managed responsibly.
Customer Service
- Promote an exceptional customer experience from estimate through vehicle delivery.
- Address customer concerns and assist with resolution when necessary.
- Ensure vehicles are delivered on time and repaired correctly the first time.
- Support customer satisfaction goals and continuous improvement initiatives.
Administrative Responsibilities
- Utilize CCC ONE and related management systems to oversee shop operations.
- Maintain accurate documentation, reports, and operational records.
- Ensure compliance with company policies, procedures, safety requirements, and workers' compensation practices.
- Maintain a clean, organized, and professional facility.
Qualifications
- Bachelor's Degree preferred.
- Previous leadership, management, or supervisory experience required.
- Automotive, collision repair, or related industry experience preferred but not required.
- Strong leadership and team-building abilities.
- Experience with budgeting, forecasting, reporting, and operational management.
- Proficiency with Microsoft Excel, Word, Outlook, and QuickBooks.
- Excellent communication, organization, and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to make decisions confidently and lead in a fast-paced environment.
- Diplomatic, dependable, energetic, and results-driven.
- Experience managing performance metrics and achieving operational goals.
Physical Requirements
- Ability to stand, walk, bend, and move throughout the facility as needed.
- Ability to occasionally lift and move items weighing up to 50 pounds.
