Warehouse / Forklift Operator

Express Employment Professionals is seeking a Warehouse / Forklift Operator for a local client. If you are reliable, safety-minded, and enjoy working in a hands-on industrial environment, we want to hear from you!

Pay: $19.00 – $23.00 per hour (DOE)

Job Responsibilities

• Operate forklifts safely and efficiently
• Unload semi-trucks and incoming shipments
• Organize, stock, and store materials in the warehouse
• Pull and prepare customer orders accurately
• Assist customers with product pickups and inquiries
• Lift, move, and handle steel products weighing 75+ lbs
• Operate rebar bending equipment and machinery
• Assist with steel fabrication processes as needed
• Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work environment

Preferred Qualifications

• Previous warehouse and forklift experience
• Steel fabrication experience is a plus
• Welding background helpful for metal and product knowledge
• Strong customer service skills
• Ability to perform heavy lifting throughout the day
• Strong work ethic and positive attitude
• Dependable and safety-focused

Requirements

• Valid Driver’s License
• Must pass:
  • Criminal background check (no felonies within the last 7 years)
  • Child-related background check
  • Pre-employment drug screening
  • Random drug testing program
• Ability to lift and carry 75+ lbs regularly
• Comfortable working indoors and outdoors in varying conditions

Required PPE

• Steel-toed boots
• Hard hat
• High-visibility safety vest

Schedule

• Initial training will be completed on day shift
• Position will then transition to scheduled shift hours based on company needs
