Assistant Project Manager

Pay: $20.00/hour

Express Employment Professionals is seeking a motivated and organized Assistant Project Manager for a local client. This is a full-time, office-based position that offers the opportunity to work closely with project managers and field supervisors to help keep construction projects on schedule and within budget.

Schedule:

• Monday – Friday
• 8:00 AM – 5:00 PM

Key Responsibilities:

• Assist with managing and prioritizing daily, weekly, and monthly project tasks
• Support project managers and foremen with project coordination and communication
• Help monitor project timelines and budgets to ensure successful project completion
• Perform basic accounting and bookkeeping functions
• Maintain and track inventory levels
• Prepare and organize project documentation
• Provide administrative support for ongoing construction projects
• Utilize software programs to maintain records and reports

Qualifications:

• Experience with basic accounting or bookkeeping
• Inventory management experience preferred
• Strong organizational and multitasking abilities
• Leadership skills and the ability to work effectively with project managers and field teams
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite, QuickBooks, and Adobe Acrobat
• Strong communication and problem-solving skills
• Ability to work independently and in a team environment

Work Environment:

• Primarily office and desk work
• Occasional light industrial or construction-related support activities
