Lumberyard Customer Service Associate

Express Employment Professionals is currently recruiting for a Lumberyard Customer Service Associate for a local client.

Are you someone who enjoys working outdoors, providing excellent customer service, and operating equipment in a fast-paced environment? We are seeking a dependable and hardworking individual to join a local lumberyard team.

Pay: $20.00 per hour

Job Responsibilities

• Pull and stage building materials using a forklift for customer orders and deliveries
• Load trucks safely and efficiently under the direction of the Yard Foreman and drivers
• Assist will-call customers with locating and loading materials
• Provide outstanding customer service to customers, contractors, and delivery drivers
• Maintain a clean, organized, and safe yard environment
• Ensure merchandise is properly stored and orderly throughout the yard
• Work outdoors in varying seasonal weather conditions

Qualifications

• Previous forklift operating experience required
• Strong customer service and communication skills
• Experience working with building materials or in a lumberyard environment preferred
• Ability to lift, carry, and move building materials as needed
• Ability to work safely and effectively in all weather conditions
• Reliable, team-oriented, and willing to take direction
