Soil Sorter / Garment Processor

Express Employment Professionals is now hiring for a Soil Sorter/Garment Processor for a local client!

Are you a high-energy individual who enjoys staying active throughout the workday? We're looking for dependable team members with great attention to detail to join a busy laundry processing facility.

Pay

• $18.75 per hour
• Opportunity for wage increases based on performance and company adjustments

Schedule

• Monday through Friday
• 7:00 AM to 3:30 PM
• Lunch break at 11:00 AM
• No weekends required

Job Duties

• Work at the soil sorting counter processing incoming laundry items
• Count and sort towels, washcloths, napkins, coveralls, uniforms, and other garments
• Separate items into designated piles for washing
• Inspect garments and remove any items left in pockets
• Handle approximately 25% medical laundry and 75% industrial laundry
• Maintain accuracy and organization in a fast-paced environment
• Assist with light housekeeping duties as needed (not required)

Requirements

• High energy and ability to stay productive throughout the shift
• Strong attention to detail
• Good hand-eye coordination
• Ability to consistently lift up to 25 pounds
• Ability to stand and walk on concrete floors for extended periods
• Must be able to distinguish colors accurately (color blindness is not permitted for this position)
• Reliable attendance and a positive attitude
