Potato Harvester
Express Employment Professionals is hiring Potato Harvesters for a local agricultural client!
We are seeking hardworking and dependable individuals to assist with the upcoming potato harvest season. This is a great opportunity for those who enjoy working outdoors and are looking for a short-term project lasting approximately 5 weeks, beginning around Labor Day.
Pay
$18.00/hour
Schedule
- Monday through Saturday
- Initial schedule: 8:00 AM - 4:00 PM
- As harvest season progresses, hours will extend to approximately 8:00 AM - 5:00 PM
Job Duties
- Hand digging and harvesting potatoes from the ground
- Collecting and handling harvested potatoes
- Sorting potatoes after the initial harvest phase
- Performing physical general labor tasks in an outdoor environment
- Following all safety procedures and work instructions provided
Requirements
- Ability to perform physically demanding work throughout the day
- Comfortable working outdoors in changing weather conditions
- Reliable attendance and transportation
- Ability to stand, bend, lift, and work on uneven terrain
