Parts Counter Sales Person -
Express Employment Professionals is hiring a Parts Counter Sales Person for a local client!
If you enjoy helping customers, have strong computer skills, and are interested in the automotive industry, this could be a great opportunity for you. We are seeking a customer-focused individual to assist customers with parts inquiries, inventory management, sales transactions, and parts lookups.
Pay & Schedule
- Pay: $18.00/hour
- Schedule: Four 10-hour shifts, Friday through Monday
Job Responsibilities
- Assist customers with parts questions and product recommendations
- Look up and identify parts using computer software and catalogs
- Provide pricing quotes and availability information
- Process sales transactions and operate POS systems
- Maintain and track inventory levels
- Receive, stock, and organize parts inventory
- Provide excellent customer service both in person and over the phone
- Perform general cashiering and administrative duties as needed
Qualifications
- Strong customer service and communication skills
- Good computer and keyboarding skills
- Ability to learn parts lookup systems and inventory software
- High School Diploma or equivalent required
- Experience in the automotive industry is a plus
- Previous parts sales experience is highly preferred
- Experience using computers, fax machines, and POS systems is helpful
- Detail-oriented with strong organizational skills
