General Labor
Express Employment Professionals is hiring General Laborers for a local fencing and excavation company. This is a great opportunity for someone who enjoys working outdoors, staying active, and learning new skills in the construction and excavation industry.
Pay
Job Responsibilities
- Assist with fencing installation, including setting posts, installing rails, and stretching wire fencing
- Support excavation and site preparation projects
- Use hand tools and equipment to complete a variety of construction tasks
- Read and use a tape measure accurately
- Assist with grading and site layout using levels and laser equipment
- Load, unload, and transport fencing materials and posts
- Perform general labor duties including raking, lifting, and site cleanup
- Opportunity to learn and operate equipment such as skid loaders and excavators after training and demonstrated reliability
Qualifications
- Reliable transportation required
- Dependable with strong attendance and work ethic
- Ability to read a tape measure and follow directions
- Attention to detail and willingness to learn
- Positive attitude and ability to work well with a team
- High school diploma or equivalent preferred
- Previous construction, fencing, landscaping, or excavation experience is helpful but not required
Work Environment
- Projects are located throughout the Flathead Valley, including Kalispell, Whitefish, Bigfork, and surrounding areas
- Outdoor work in varying weather conditions
- Physically demanding position requiring lifting, bending, twisting, standing, and carrying materials throughout the day
