Job Full Description
Full-Time Bank Teller
Express Employment Professionals is seeking a Full-Time Bank Teller for a local financial institution. This is a great opportunity for someone who enjoys working with people, has strong attention to detail, and is looking to build a career in the banking industry. Previous teller experience is preferred but not required, making this an excellent opportunity for candidates with strong customer service backgrounds.
Pay
Schedule
- Bank hours are 7:30 AM to 6:00 PM
- Will work every 4th Saturday
- Typically receives one weekday off each week (in addition to regular days off)
- Every 4th week includes four days off
Job Duties
- Provide exceptional customer service to bank customers
- Process deposits, withdrawals, payments, and other banking transactions
- Handle cash accurately and efficiently
- Balance cash drawers and maintain transaction records
- Assist customers with account inquiries and banking services
- Utilize proprietary banking software and computer systems
- Operate coin and currency counting equipment
- Maintain confidentiality and compliance with banking procedures
Qualifications
- Great customer service and communication skills
- Previous teller or cash-handling experience preferred
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment
- Must have clean credit history
- Basic computer proficiency
- Professional appearance and demeanor
Physical Requirements
- Standing for extended periods
- Sitting, stooping, and bending as needed
- Frequent computer usage
- Handling cash and operating counting equipment
