Job Full Description
We are seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented associate to join our team. The ideal candidate will play a crucial role in the production process by accurately measuring, mixing, and preparing materials for manufacturing. This position requires a strong understanding of laboratory practices, materials handling, and adherence to CGMP (Current Good Manufacturing Practices) standards. The Compounder will work closely with various teams to ensure that all products meet quality specifications and are produced efficiently.
Responsibilities
- Measure and mix raw materials according to precise formulas and specifications.
- Operate laboratory equipment and machinery for the fabrication of compounds.
- Ensure compliance with CGMP regulations throughout the compounding process.
- Handle materials safely and efficiently, including packaging finished products for distribution.
- Maintain accurate records of production activities, including batch logs and inventory levels.
- Conduct routine inspections of equipment and work areas to ensure cleanliness and safety.
- Collaborate with team members to implement lean manufacturing principles for improved efficiency.
- Assist in training new employees on proper compounding techniques and safety protocols.
Skills
- Proficiency in materials handling, including the ability to operate forklifts safely.
- Experience with machining processes is a plus.
- Knowledge of lean manufacturing principles to optimize production workflows.
- Ability to work effectively in a warehouse environment while adhering to safety standards.
- Excellent attention to detail with strong organizational skills.
- Ability to communicate effectively within a team-oriented environment.
- Bilingual Spanish is required
