Our client in North Brunswick is seeking a highly proficient Lockbox Payment Processing Clerk. This is a temp-to-hire position.
General Summary:
The role involves processing Lockbox remittance with a high level of accuracy and efficiency.
Essential Job Duties:
- Sort, open, organize, and scan incoming mail using high-speed OPEX scanners
- Package processed remittance for client and/or bank delivery
- Ensure accounts are consistently processed according to client specifications
- Maintain established production and accuracy standards
- Perform other related duties as assigned by the Supervisor and/or Site Manager
- Must be flexible for other duties as assigned: As an associate you may be required to cross-train across roles/departments with similar job duties, or assist with other business needs as required
Requirements:
- 1+ year of Lockbox Payment Processing experience -OR- experience working at a HIPAA compliant facility in a financial supporting role -OR- experience working for a financial institution
- Ability to work in fast paced, high productivity and deadline-oriented environment
- Requires the ability to read and follow instructions
- Ability to work under limited supervision
- Strong organizational skills with attention to detail
- Must be computer literate
- Must be proficient using 10-key pad
- Must have basic math skills
- Good hand-eye coordination and manual dexterity
- High school diploma required
