Job Full Description
Our client in Edison is in need of a Warehouse Associate. Duties include:
• Coordinating activities in the Shipping/Receiving Dock including Unloading and loading semi-trucks, U.P.S. and FedEx trucks
• Responsible for incoming and outgoing products and goods. Packaging and preparing LTL shipment and documentation
• Routing material to either staging or shipping areas
• Mechanically Inclined
• Ability to work on Valve automation and Assembly with direct from the warehouse supervisor
• Must be experienced operating a forklift. Certification a plus
• Use Microsoft Office, Outlook, and additional software to track and communicate internally, as well as with Customers, Carriers and Suppliers
• Maintains condition of work area (i.e. free of trash, product in correct location, etc.). Follows company safety policies and procedures and encourages other associates to do the same
• Attention to detail, highly organized, able to prioritize work
Requirements:
2+ years experience in warehouse working with warehouse equipment, machines and tools. Also Forklift experience; material resource planning or production control systems with SAP; knowledge of electrical, pneumatic, and hydraulic control systems; and a valid drivers license.
