Position: Construction Counter Sales
Location: Elmira, NY
Schedule: Monday–Friday | 7:30 AM – 4:00 PM
Pay: $16.50/hr
Overview:
Express Employment Professionals is seeking a Construction Counter Sales associate for a client in the Elmira area. The ideal candidate will provide product assistance at the service counter, support customer inquiries, and coordinate with internal teams in a courteous and professional manner. Previous customer service experience and basic construction knowledge are preferred.
Key Responsibilities:

Assist customers at the sales counter and respond to product inquiries

Provide guidance regarding electrical supply-related questions

Monitor, track, and document inventory

Operate forklift to load and unload customer vehicles as needed

Utilize cash register, RF scan guns, and related equipment

Maintain a clean and organized work area

Perform additional duties as assigned
Qualifications:
-
Customer service experience required

Construction or electrical supply knowledge preferred

Forklift experience preferred

Strong communication and problem-solving skills
